What are the rules?

Also how do I make quality gaming videos on a ds and upload them to YouTube?

Also, if you black out then you lose the Nuzlocke even if you have Pokémon remaining in storage.
And while not a hard rule, breeding is generally discouraged since it allows you to obtain infinite Pokémon.

not really. You can limit yourself to 1, but the rule is there to just deter you from taking the easy way out in tough spots. No point in a nuzlocke if you’re just gonna spam heals when you’re low

I don't think it's easy to get DS recording equipment. You're probably better off playing on MelonDS and capturing with OBS.

I use it as a normal rule and the games are still super easy even with it.
Hardcore, to me, is using mono or dual type teams and something similar.

Basic nuzlocke rules:
