>>52640634Same problem pokemon games have had since gen 4. Antagonists pretending they're anything beyond mundane humans while hiding behind the coat tails of the pokemon actually doing all the work. As cringy/fanfiction as it is, gen 10 really needs to go the SMT route and have trainers participate in battles as a 7th member.
