Makes Freeze-Dry useless and Ice coverage even better than it already is. Resisting Water is cool, though.

Same. Rock coverage is better than actual Rock mons. Plus Electric types really aren't too weak or too OP as long as Rising Voltage is kept in check.

Ice shouldn't be super effective against Water. And no this isn't a "water melts ice" post as it would nullify the purpose of Freeze-Dry. Just have it resist Water because that way Ice gets its second resistance and Water gets a nerf.
and my favorite Pokémon would lose a weakness

Its not a nerf or a buff, but think that we need something like pokemon innate abilities but For some Pokémon.
I.e. solgaleo can't be hit by fire attacks.
Or fighting type isnt super effective to walrein or snorlax (because they're too fat).
Also some Pokémon need to absorb their own type, like ice absorbing or nullifying Blizzard.
And same with electric or fire.
Ah, and make acid attack super effective to steel.
