Which one of the new anime protagonists will have a pikachu?
They're bound to have one to the pokemon company can continue making pikachu merch

Neither. They reverted Pikachu's cry to its original voice for a reason. TPCi is phasing Pikachu out for Sprigatito.

Nah, Sprig is a short season mascot. They're going to try being like Disney. Each generation will be a new protagonist with cute new toys to market to children based on the protag's lead Pokemon.
