They'll never stop being Ash's friends, they'll never stop living in the same world. For all they know, Ash could be right across the street battling in an alley. It doesn't matter if he actually is, but it feels like he could be. It feels like everyone's on a journey, together but separate. Even if you can't see each other, the bond you formed keeps you close. Everyone's sharing the same town, the same world. Everyone's always on a journey, because you never stop growing.
