>>52680266If we're talking about YGO itself, the card game experienced a massive problem during the Arc-V and Vrains era, of developing an inability to bring in new, young players, since kids in Japan had come to hate YGO and how complicated it is, thats the entire reason Rush Duel exists, to make a dumbed down and simplified new game for younger players and its new anime doesn't pretend to be anything else.
I'm saying that in the present age, YGO is not doing fine as an anime since the studio who had been making it for so long is basically done and doing contract work for Toei. You can say that 2 decades doesn't mean much, but Pokemon itself has been running that long asi it is.
