They don't actually died per se. They all were isekai'ed into anipoke universe. All the npcs you see in anipoke episodes are deceased pokemon fans. See you in pokespain

I always think about this whenever a new piece of media in a given franchise is out. I do wonder how many Half-Life fans waiting on Half-Life 3 died before Alex was ever announced. Weird kinda feeling being alive knowing what they missed. And someday what I'll end up missing too when I'm gone

Also, I remember how big a deal it was when the OG VA of Meowth was pronounced dead way back in 2008. Feels weird how long ago that was.

I already imagined a scenario where I died waiting for pokemon Gen 20 to come out. But by then I would have passed every cartridge I owned to my kids or grandkids. I would write in my will barring them from deleting the save data before transporting my pokemon friends out of them.

I try not to think about what I'll miss in the future. Only now is important. Now I'm reminded how my great grandfather died the year I was born. As he was leaving this world I was just entering it. And having ended up inheriting a lot of his stuff I can safely say him and I probably shared a lot of the same interests and would probably have gotten along had I known him.
