I don't know, I just feel like Charizard is one of HIS strongest pokemon he ever had, and seeing Ash win with it would have been a nice callback to when the damn thing wouldn't listen to him at all in the beginning. Would have been a nice way to demonstrate Ash's growth. I know people are fed up with it but still
