People that played PLA then SV i suggest going back to PLA to compare. PLA is so silky smooth gameplay and fps, the map doesn't glitch like it's an emulator and the spawns and drawn distance isn't retarded. Much better game

Where did you hear that they're not Hisui natives? Irida lost her parents, likely the previous clan leaders, when she was really young so she was likely raised by Palina/Calaba/Gaeric while Adaman was pretty much in the same boat but I don't remember a thing about his own parents being dead or alive. Irida had the weight of the clan on her shoulders since she was very young according to some NPC. Adaman is talked about a lot less for some reason.

Is Arceus actually good? I avoided it because it's so ugly and the gameplay looked really boring. Everytrhing I see looks awful, but /vp/ praises it nonstop.

Yes. But the gameplay loop is much more about catching shit. Plays smoother and graphically it's superior (I wouldn't say great, but better).
