Not the fact in itself, but how added to many more events, it made me realize something.
Things are changing, what I used to think of as home for its warmth and sweat memories has changed to an unrecognizable state. What I latched on for so many year in order to fight loneliness and despair is gone.
It's not just Ash, not even just Pokemon. But the whole internet has changed.
And now I'm left lonely, miserable and with brainrot, and nothing to turn to in order to cope.
