So why does the pawmi line have it too? Are they planning something? Would explain why the evolution barely changes too if they were planning on having it in the anime

He probably was made to fill the Pikachu role in all honesty. The fact it evolves at all is surprising and it lets them have a "Pikachu" without the forbidden to evolve restraint since the final stage looks similar enough anyways.
Or it's just the next anime's Chansey lmao

Did I dream it or the leakers who got it right also talked about pikachu having two different forms in S/V? If they saved them for events or the DLC I could see the two protagonists ending up with a past paradox pikachu and a future one.

Just 2 placeholders since the dlc paradoxes were originally in the source code but were removed to avoid spoiling them beyond the magazine sketches, it was safer to copy and paste something else over them than to zero it all out
