I just finished it myself after playing Scarlet.
I liked it for the most part, but there are some things that really annoyed me, like having to go back to the fucking village every time I wanted to go somewhere else, which also required talking to the professor each time.
I'm also disappointed by how few trainer battles there were, I wanted more battles against full teams like Volo's.

I don’t know if that’s a fair expectation when the game practically begs you to meet Arceus, and of course, you’ll encounter a lot of blatant, borderline-disrespectful time wasting mechanics if you take the bait (distortion exclusives, reloading areas because a rare spawn didn’t spawn, etc). It’s a legitimate criticism of the game.

Understandable but it kinda is how the game make pokemon spawn in this game

I battled more the trainer villagers in Jublife than i did with npcs in the entire paldea region though. You can check them later just talk with the lady that teach moves or Ingo, don't remember which one

You can play RBY for 99 hours due to the stadium, same for GSC. Now what, you play for 20 hours and still have to pay the full 60 bucks for it? you are being robbed, retard.

Here is the thing about PLA, it actually feels like the next step for the franchise. Not just Gen 1 with various mechanics and a new coat of visuals slapped on top. It literally rekindled my passion from the franchise since White and X was such a shit show killed it.

While S/V feels like a half step back to the Classic format. I swear the issues with glitches/visuals/preformence comes from them slapping in some PLA mechanics very late in to production.
