Also Cinderace is single type so using Pyro Ball won't change his typing allowing him to use non-choice sets as well. Court Change is also way more useful for any kind of team than whatever Meowscarada can do

I'm just not seeing it do a ton this gen. Maybe when chi yu and chien pao: enter the fang get the boot it'll have more breathing room to go back to its strong, fast boots pivot roots. Really half its problem is how insane dondozo is.

I do feel like for Solo raid this would at least be viable. Without much damage being done it will probably not get to the point where it resets stats before youre ready to blast it with a +6 +6 stored power.
though i guess for group raids you will probably want to bring psychic and nasty plot instead

Believe me, I've tried for both solo and group with a Psychic Surge Stored Power Indeedee, it's not worth it. AI partners will still knock the raid boss into shield category on their own, and since they don't penalize the timers they can spam as many moves as they want.

Use Psychic or Psyshock instead.

What the fuck, they ruined most of the starters. They're just using the generic attack animations that weren't meant for their signature moves. Inteleon's Snipe Shot is also underwhelming even if it still fits.

I would actually like Cinderace quite a bit if not for the "clothes". It acting oddly human like and even like a soccer player is already pushing it. The first two would depend on how often its potential Gunk Shot could hit. Iron Hands wouldn't have super effective STAB damage and any potential paralysis it could inflict would likely be cleared often.

Sylveon is useless. Cinderace will carry strong physical moves like Pyro Ball. We used Sylveon against Charizard because it can sponge strong special moves even under sun. Sylveon is not a physical staller/tank/sponge.

That's why I said "if it follows Charizard's behavior". Normally a raid mon will purge its debuffs and your buffs, but Zard never purged his debuffs after the initial Overheat. We'll have to see what Cinderace does.
