Third versions are better than DLC and I'm tired of pretending they're not.
Third versions have the benefit of:
>can improve or fix things in the base game, such as graphics or performance issues or tweaking the story
>no two version bullshit means you have a cohesive canon story with both cover legendaries and version-specific characters or features incorporated into it
>usually has a lot more features than the original
>can do the same as DLC and add more content into postgame
>costs basically the same as DLC if you sell the original game and is undoubtedly cheaper if you never buy the dual version to begin with and just purchase the 3rd version instead
