The seven spots that went to babies of Gen1 Pokemon could have been used for evolved forms for many of the single-stagers Gen2 had. Tyrogue at least connected Hitmontop with the other Hitmons, and I can forgive Smoochum, Elekid, and Magby because their Gen1 counterparts are already strong, but Iggly and Clef are just an insult. Even more ridiculous we didn't even get a baby for Tauros and Miltank to officially join them.
