I know some people think there's like a decade between the first games and the nugens (based on retarded shit like Anabel becoming a faller 10 years before SM means RSE was 10 ago) but let's look at actual substantial (and always official) info

The gap between BW and B2W2 is two years (in-universe and irl)
>XY has an NPC telling you Team Plasma has been on news about Unova, this may hint at BW or B2W2, and Colress is confirmed to have been in Kalos in the past. The mentioned tweet explains B2W2 and XY do in fact take place roughly at same time. The irl time gap between B2W2 and XY in one year (2012-2013).
