If you care about the accidental deaths of animals caused from modern industrial farming of fruits, vegetables, and grains, then you should want to minimize those deaths and the way to minimize those deaths is to get rid of meat production because the pigs, chickens, and cows we as humans raise to eat, eat more grains than our entire species does. I'm not trying to be an asshole here, but seriously, try to stand back and understand that none of the little gotchas you come up with on the spot are things we haven't already thought of.
