>>52725325I hate those shiny "fact" videos so much because there's never any actual research or logic put into them. Most of the time it's just "did u know that the Masuda Method exists???" and then saying le rare mark antique sinistea is the rarest mon ever.
Case in point, I skimmed through picrel and they put Shedinja into the "Free" tier because "you get it for free when you evolve a shiny Nincada", and then they put Genesect into the "hard" tier even though it has 5% shiny chance in the only place you can hunt it.
I spent like 2 weeks researching and editing my own version with actual statistical rarity and it pulled an easy ~200k views on my account with <500 subs because I guess videos about shiny pokemon do insanely well in the youtube algorithm.
