And the resultant negative emotions of grief, repulsion and loss.
A good amount of the problem is emotional, see. Blood and guts is blood and guts, I worked in my grandpa's butcher shop part time and figured that out, but death is decidedly more... human.
Especially if its some teenager. You hear so much about their future. How kind and lovely and smart they were. But then they decided they were sober enough to drive home when they shouldn't have, or they misjudged the speed of a turn or how far away a tree was. Even something so innocent as forgetting their seatbelt.
Then? Well, they're oh so much flesh that bounced off the tarmac, just getting pecked at by crows. Every last lick of uniqueness and humanity, their soul if you wanna go there, well, its gone, split to the wind. One might even go so far as to wonder if it was ever there in the first place, if the human mind and sentience is but a trick of oh so many carbon atoms and chemical energy put in a funny shape, and entirely ceases to be when those randomly arranged bits and bobs come apart.
But you don't need, or want, to hear about my personal thoughts. I'll tell you a funny story instead, because thats what imageboards are for. That and posting cute pokemon pictures.
Once had an ex, right. One of those chicks whose super into true crime podcasts and serial killer documentaries, that sort of thing.
Well, fella, there's a reason she's my ex. She thought it was hot that I thought of dead people when I saw her naked. Ain't that just nutty, huh?
Anyways, drive responsibly, all. There's likely someone out there who cares a good deal for you.
