She actually offers substantial and in-depth analysis of the ludonarrative and mechanics and provides adequate and obscure historical context in her videos to substantiate her points instead of aimlessly doing 3 hour long review summaries of the plot and basic mechanics.

In other words, she's the only Poketuber who can actually articulate why games have or lack soul. Even if you disagree with her overall conclusion, her analysis can't just be brushed aside without merit. As someone who works in academia, her videos could legitimately pass off as essays with just a bit more rigour and effort. /vp/'s opinion of her seems deoendent solely on the fact that she's a woman - I hate women so reeee, or I love her because I'm a coomer.
