How is it possible to be this wrong? The Johto starters are bland as shit. Even the Galar starters are better than them.

Typhlosion and Faraligator appeal to the same demographic. Also, the only one that I've ever seen talked about is Typhlosion, so "lasting impression" is pretty debatable.
