>>52745851yup, all the good cards are at rare/mythic, the lands set you back mostly just to be able to play the deck in some capacity of consistency (outside of mono which has a lot of problems usually compared to dual colors). They "balance" draft by printing answer cards at stupidly high costs.
EX. a rare in the set will have a 1B: instant- kill target creature, but also have 2BB: sorcery-kill target creature card at the common slot. Same shit, but at horrible downgrades, which ends up filling the set with garbage chaff.
And seeing as boxes are fixed, as in rarely get many repeats in the rare/mythic slots (which is a double edged sword) good for collecting, bad for building. Leaving secondary market to build actual decks or keep buying boxes/packs.
GREED fills them, and glad they are severed, we don't need them thinking they can do MTG levels of secret lairs for pokemon...
