it's a romhack, they added in forms of gen 1-4 pokemon and theyre working on adding the entire nat dex. also its just a really cool hack that makes it pretty much a 1:1 recreation of renegade platinum with some of the improvements TPC has made over the years.

There already is a pc version of every switch pokemon game including sv including online multiplayer and raids online and trading online and battling online, it's called using ryujinx or yuzu.

In terms of Renegade Platinum content it is basically 1:1 aside from the climax. Looker and Charon are readded to the game with their own models which is pretty neat.
In terms of extra features for LP specifically, there is:
> Toggles in the PC to individually enable/disable Friendship bonuses, Exp Share, and Level Caps
> New Incense item which allows you to encounter regional forms in the wild. Animations are buggy and they lack cries/icons but all the forms for mons up to Gen 4 are in
> HGSS style following pokemon
> many new animations, especially for flying types. Personal favorite is Honchkrow which gets its kino defeat animation from PBR
> 60 FPS framerate
there's some other stuff I probably forgot but overall it's a pretty solid experience

Also forgot to mention that there will be two versions, 2.0 which is coming out much sooner and is planned to basically be an improved port of Renegade Platinum with the regional forms and QOL features, and 3.0 which will be a complete overhaul that has the full natdex

no distortion world, and no proper battle frontier. Not every new character has a model yet. (Caitlin and Darach use generic trainer classes as placeholders)
Incense Burner also doesn't have full functionality yet but you can still use it to encounter the regional forms
If you're asking about 3.0, it'll likely be a while seeing as they need to rebalance and edit the entire game to slot 9 generations worth of pokemon in to both wild encounters and trainer teams

Situation with BDSP was special because it was made in Unity. This is why it's so easy to mod it
With SV and other games it will be more difficult because they use whatever the fuck engine GF is using. At this stage it's more probable that we will get fully modeable PC port of BDSP quicker than any advanced mods for SV.
