An imposter Ditto might be a little fun for single player, but you won't have immediate access to that.

Nobody is going to play through the game with Wobbuffet under any circumstances.

I think thay would apply for most mons that are only useful in competitive. HOWEVER, i have used wynaut and wobbuffet in emerald when you get the wynaut egg in lavaridge.

Its a monobug shitmon in a gen with things like vespiqueen, wormadam and heracross so theres really no reason to give it a second thought

Literally anything with too low of an attack stat is unfun to use in singleplayer because there's no tact required besides "click the move that matches the weakness"

I used Smeargle in single player before, albeit not natively caught there, I usually transfer one. Also has a moveset packed full of signature moves from legendaries.
