I feel like there should just be like, a Pokémon Stadium-style game which is where the National Sex is actually used, and the effort in mainline games is out elsewhere.

Even if TPC was bought by this fictional party, they still wouldn't control Game Freak (who make the games) or Nintendo (who fund the games) and without control of them two companies, they can't compel Game Freak to do jack shit.

This. Make a new Battle Revolution that connects to Home and every mainline title on the console it’s on, so you can mix and match all your old and new Pokemon in one game. Bonus points if they go beyond and even have a small story like Colosseum or Gale of Darkness (not a full on RPG, but a small story that takes place over the cups or something)
