The DLC will probably open of with news of a "Pokémon" opening a cave path. You and the other top students; Penny, Arven, Nemona, Clive and New Antagonist who magically knows everything; are tasked with finding out more about this cave. Kalos will be mentioned offhand like "I think this is close to the Kalos region." Nemona will get hype "DO YOU THINK WE'LL FIND MEGA ST-" then gets cuts off when Arven points out the beautiful lush flower field the gang has come across. The camera will pan cinematically this new area filled with old and very few new Pokémon. That's the end of Kalos being mentioned.
Scarlet will see the beast trio from Johto roaming.
Violet will see the musketeer trio from Unova roaming.
The new main legendary will have some similarities to Zygarde but nothing will mention that in the slightest.
Two new Tapu's which don't make sense from previous lore, just like the two new Regi's.
