I still think it is because it carries over a decent chunk of what I liked about gens 3 and 4 but I don't really blame people for not thinking so, gens 3 and 4 have a shitton in common with another and gen 5 is very different from both.

What I like about gen 3 is the exploration and different map gimmicks/puzzles. Gen 5 is completely fucking horrible in terms of both.
