Did anyone else arrange their boxes based on the wallpapers and organized Pokemon by typing and imagined the box was digital resort based on the chosen biome for the Pokemon inside?

Yes and I always used the custom box designs for Pokemon that were team members, legends or used for stuff like Frontier or Contests.

first few boxes are occupied by the living dex
box after those is for forms and eventmons
a couple more for comp, balltism, and trade fodder
and the boxes at the bottom of the pc are for mark/ribbonmons and shinies
empty boxes in between are for collecting eggs

One or two boxes for my team, HM slaves, other utility mons and plot-relevant and gift mons renamed "The Boys", the rest are just whatever I capture for the dex.

When USUM came out, I started to organize my competitive Pokemon by type so yes I matched wallpaper based on type or at least by color if nothing better was applicable. The boxes I used to store eggs for long hunts were the picnic wallpaper, and everything else was the plain wallpaper. In any gen that I am still collecting Pokemon but have moved my Pokemon forward, I just swapped backgrounds to snowy since winter is my favorite season

I did until it started to bother me how unevenly distrubted Pokemon were across the biomes, and some didn't fit anywhere.

I always go by typing or biome when i'm not making a living dex, if i'm making a living dex then it's just go by dex number. For example forest biome with bug and grass pokemon, desert with rock and ground.

Yes, I always made sure to put the right 'mons in the right wallpaper based on type. Fire got the volcano, water the beach, grass the plains etc
