I think the people trying to max Tinkaton's attack somehow are trying to fit squares in a round hole. It's Steel/Fairy and has decent Sp. Def and not crippling speed, along with Mold Breaker. I get the feeling its supposed to be a defensive support mon that can shit out a decently hard hitting attack. Unfortunately for smoothbrains like me I can't go unga bunga so I dont use it much in singleplayer

lol no it cannot you won't be doing any meaningful damage off pathetic 75 base attack, that's like second stage NFE shitmon level. If they gave it huge power it maybe could have been viable.

Unironically 75 would’ve slowly died out as Tinkaton shows it’s a solid support Mon with a funny bomb (G Hammer), and only the worst Corvikeks would spam it.

Tinkatards ruined it for themselves by creating “53”, which is far less of an insult than 75 because Corviknight’s other attack stat is viable thus making it less predictable/passive and it doesn’t have any use for its Special Attack stat, unlike Tinkaton who wants higher attack for Gigaton to be more threatening + easier use in single player. That and Corviknight’s stats match its appearance and theme at a first glance, whilst Tinkaton’s doesn’t make sense unless you go a bit deeper because people see big weapon and think “big attack”.
