Since volcarona evolves at level 59, you're stuck with larvesta for a while. It's not terrible and I'm an insect autist so I really like it

As per usual, things I used in the game itself ended up endearing themselves to me. This site is weird though, some of my top favorites like Gliscor and Ursaluna just straight up stopped appearing after it lost to one of my "more beloved" favorites

More people would have given Chespin a second look had it not debuted alongside the fennekin/froakie lines, which are some of the most popular starters in the series. All three of them are pretty solid but Chespin's my go-to any day.

Looks like Mabosstiff and Klawf managed to muscle in but time will tell if they stay there. New toy syndrome is always a factor. Also Dracovish has cleaved through the top spots like some kind of slasher villain and now it's knocking on my top 10.

Oh, it happened! Checked a couple days ago and was sad it hadn’t happened yet.
