Someone's child at the workplace couldn't believe that I (Male 32) knew what a Gardevoir was.
I was at work and I noticed this kid had a cute little plushie of a Gardevoir in his hand and I was like "hey kid! Nice Gardevoir" and he responded with "how do you even know what that is?" And I proceed to explain to him and his mom that I played pokemon ruby on my gameboy when I was 4 years old. And he replied with "what's a gameboy?" And I was absolutely STUNNED. I looked at his millennial looking mom, hoping for some sort of reaction and she just says "is that like a DS or something?" So I called them niggers and walked away.
Am I getting old or something?
