Playing through Emerald, want to use Shedinja for shits and giggles.
Should I evolve Nincada at Lv20 to get Double Team, Fury Cutter, and Screech, or at Lv25 to get Swords Dance?
Also good movesets for this thing?

Get Swords Dance, it's only 5 levels and it's easy to replace if you no longer need/want it.

I'd say evolve at 25. You can get Fury Cutter and Double Team from the move tutor in Verdanturf and the TM on Route 113, respectively.

Then you don't want Double Team. It can't be hit unless it's a super-effective hit.
0 percent chance to not faint while in on a pokemon that can't hit you super-effectively.
100 percent chance to faint if you stay in on a pokemon with a supereffective hit and Double Team isn't lowering that 100 very much.

I like to use mine for inflicting statuses - Toxic, Confuse Ray, Protect if you wanna scout whether or not an opponent's got any SE moves, and then a physical-type move for actually doing direct damage.

Don't. I've tried it a few times and it's not fun. Way too much stuff can still kill it. Lots of common enemies with Pursuit.

That said, the time I bred a Nincada with a Volbeat that knew Protect via level up made it kinda decent. Helped with predicting potential ohkos, minus Pursuit which is just death. Didn't take long to learn it at 29: just catch it, throw it in thr daycare and speed around on the mach bike for a few minutes. Shadow Ball and Toxic work well. Might as well cripple something that can't touch you.

the most based anon on vp right now. Yes wait until lv 25 for swords dance. The only drawback is bank doesnt allow swords dance because of GF's incompetence.
