But the tumorous growth on its ass end and just having some bad choices does make it feel like a really iffy option to me.
I'm also somewhat inclined towards gen 4, and not for HGSS because i don't actually think HGSS for all its praise exactly improves on the actual game much. Doesn't look that much better really, its mostly meme gimmicks.
Sinnoh is pretty interesting but i recall some notable stretches of nothing.
Gen 5 feels like Gen 3 2 to me, and i honestly don't like that overall feel; what its generally praised for don't really hold up for me.
There's random chunks of Kalos i sorta like, but so much of the region is a blur. I can appreciate chunks of SM but it sucks to playthrough, and feels like it kinda just becomes a load of nothing by the end.
Galar was just bland, i really don't think i'd ever want to touch gen 8 again since it didn't really give me much of anything. Lets go ironically did have more interesting ideas, but is bogged down even harder than SM; including by outright fucking mechanics.
Legends was an okay tech demo but doesn't really feel like a full game. SV has bursts of interest but mostly feels like a sister game being very tech demoish.
But now with even less care in regards to performance, it feels like its literally an incomplete "buy the next game to get a proper version of this concept".
