Not only is Ho-oh way stronger and better, it's also a much better design. Moltres is one of the worst designs from gen 1

This scene is actually pretty interesting. Some speculated that this is the time when Ash first died. But then Ho-Oh revived him but the Sacred Ash clings to him, giving him the ability to revive indefinitely. That explains how he managed to come back to life after being turned into stone in M01, or being hit by a chandelier, turned into ghost only to be revived again through unexplained mechanics, and able to interact with the dead (latest episode). For some reason, Ghost Pokemon love him too. So in conclusion, Ash Ketchum already died in Ep01.

I was never a fan of the original Moltres design, but his thing grew on me. Didn't really care for Galarian Arcticuno and Zapdos, though.
