Every Switch title since Let's Go, Pikachu! & Let's Go, Eevee! has had under-average critic and user ratings and bad online reception. The only exception to this is Legends: Arceus, which received favourable scores among both critics and users.

This sends out a very clear message to GAME FREAK and The Pokémon Company regarding what the fans really want from this franchise moving forward, and their inability to act on this going forward will result in irrepairable damage to their brand reputation.

TPCI's refusal to put out a statement or apology of any kind really shows just how little they care about the fans. The Pokémon video game series, to them, is nothing more than a vessel to sell more merch and put out more anime episodes.

Nintendo needs to reform GAME FREAK and TPCI from the ground up, because there are clearly some very serious problems from within the business/studio itself. Until that happens, Pokémon will never amount to anything more than a money-printing machine. A soulless husk of what was once a brilliant and unique idea for a video game series.
