>>52782997>>52782992I actually have a theory about that. They come back nerfed statistically but keep the design. It’s a alternative to Terra types. Terra a special mon of its species (Gugantimax rules where some Pokémon just have it and others don’t) and it takes the mega design instead of a Terra crown. Presumably just gets a +1 to a stat or something and a ability change (if applicable) instead of a changed BST. Wouldn’t do as much to buff a Pokémon as Og megas did but lets you hold a item and free stats are free stats. It would probably be roughly comparable to the flexibility and damage buff Terras give.
No evidence just a pipe dream. This would pave the way for GF to have a gimmick button instead of throwing away a mechanic a Gen.
