He has appeared in more mainline games than any other trainer, he has his own toys and action figures,his anime counterpart is the legendary Satoshi/Ash Ketchum, he has been featured in the manga, he is the star character of offshoots such as Pokémon Generations, he has little kids dress as him for Halloween and other Pokémon events, and more
I won’t even get to his accomplishments like single-handidly defeating a full-strengthen Team Rocket and catching Mewtwo using nothing but Gen 1 Pokémon
