Scarlet and Violet isn't going to get a year of meaningful patches based on customer feedback. At best it'll be lightly taken into consideration and used in the next game they develop. And let's remember, that doesn't mean the next game they release, because they're already working on at least the next two games minimum. The DLC will still be shit. The side game will be shit. The Johto/Unova revisit project will be shit. Then maybe the next game will be developed after that will be budgeted more time.

Probably not though, given how well Scarlet/Violet sold anyway. But hey, maybe if they see a big drop in sales for Gen 10, then they'll budget more time for the game after THAT. Just six more games until Game Freak finally makes a good Pokémon game! This time for real!
