Apparently perfect fit, is too tight.
When its required to remove the card pushing up on it may damage the edges or corners.
But loose fit sleeves allow for dust and junk to get in.

When is it ever "required" to remove a card from a sleeve? This is why you people keep damaging your cards. You're putting them in and out of sleeves all the time, being overly careful not to damage them -- when in fact your caution is what is likely to bring about damage in the first place.
How ironic.

Just put your card in a good sleeve, even a perfect fit! and just leave it in there.

You would be able to sue sleeve manufacturers since the best ones all explicitly state that they are acid free. And seeing as those companies don't like to throw away money to a guaranteed loss lawsuit, and there isn't a record of their sleeves degrading cards, it's safe to assume that isn't a thing.

But have fun re-sleeving your cards! I'm sure the new scratches you notice on them each time you take them out were always there!

Why perfect fits are bad, just like how your house expands and contracts during the day and night based on temperature, so does your card, without additional breathing space the holofoil will crack like when a floor is done too tightly.
Additionally after so many years the card will be fused to the plastic.
Chemicals from the astic will also leech into the card.

Both binders and perfect fits are fine, what matters more is that both the binder and sleeves are high quality dont be buying ultra pro or bottom shelf stuff, get the nice vault x binder or something similar with the dragon shield sleeves or something nice and treat your cards gently

Her eyes, nose and mouth are all higher than they should be. This would make sense if she was tilting her head back, but there's no shading or line indicating the underside of her jaw and she's touching her chin directly, so it seems her head is facing us and not tilted back. I think the artist intended to tilt her head back then changed his mind for some reason.

That's Cynthia's best card, nothing blatantly wrong with it and I consider it a good card. However if I were to be nitpicky, I would've drawn the split in her hair slightlyr lower to make her hairline look better. As it is, it makes her forehead looks just a bit too big. It's not a big issue though, and anime girls with big foreheads are all the rage right now.

Honestly yes, but as usual ultra poor has low QC standards. Mostly what that means in this case is there might be bits of loose flash inside the toploader. Just tap those out before putting in the card and you're good.

I do not have an answer to your question but I did put some curled MTG foil in sleeves then in a binder and after a year or two they were a bit flatter. The binder had an elastic band and was pretty tight. The thing is that I don't think they would stay flat, it's like a temporary thing. That's what I'm testing now, to see if they bend as much again out of the binder in a box. I don't care how much people say you can just fix curled foils by doing things like stuffing them in books, I refuse to believe it. For me foils curl because of changing moisture and you can't reverse that process permanently.

If you will get the card within the next 2 months leave the gap, otherwise don't. Another option is to not put them in binders until you are ready to organize them long term. You can leave them in sleeves and maybe top loaders until then.

Honestly I get trying to protect your cards. I do. Nobody wants their cards to get ruined by just leaving them in what you thought was a solid protection. But when you're concerned about specs of dust or micro-micro scratches? It's one of two things; autism or poorfag. I've yet to see one of these 'sleeve nazi' people post some crazy gold star or shining or ex shit, so I have to assume they're trying to protecc like $50-$100 cards. And even still, if you REALLY, REALLY wanted to protect your cards, why not just get like a screwdown or onetouch or slab, why sleeve it 4737284 times. At the end of the day they're just cards and I treat them as such and sleeve them in whatever I have available at the time

Dungeon 550/1100 or Arkhive 400/800. Same price, both sized for toploaders, Dungeons are bigger but Arkhives have been around longer to iterate and the new magnet closure is great. There are other minor differences so check out both.
Amazon sells them and the cheap cardboard shit, if that's more your speed.
