I actually don't mind that its easier to get them now.

If you want something new to try to go after thou, I am looking into title hunting: getting one of each species with a title, or every species with a rare mark on it or something.
Will take up a ton of box space since they basically only spawn with one title mark on them. But, the title powering food is pretty cheap so it should go fast if I focus in on one mon at a time.

if you want something difficult, try to get XXXL/S pokemon, they're far more difficult to get than shinies

not that guy but shiny charm + sparkling 3 sandwich is pretty good, it took me about 30 minutes to find a shiny Hatenna earlier and I've gotten a couple outbreak shinies even before I got the charm & without a sandwich.

I'm also happier they're easier to get now, I've never bothered shiny hunting before but now that they're a little more attainable it's more fun for me

What I do is run around to low level raids I can solo that are the right tera type, one or two shot the pokemon, and then refresh my raids to get more of the right type of tera raids on my map and reppeat until I have enough.
This is slightly faster than doing 6* raids because of the uncertainty of pugs, and the certainty and fastness of being able to rush around my map and refresh if I don't see the right type of crystals up.

Its still god awful but hope that helps.

Yeah I did a few Delibird raids but since that spread them out between types instead of giving you 19 of one type I'm still nowhere near 50 for some of them. I think 25-30 would have been more reasonable.

I could use a tera Sylveon I caught that already has fairy tera and good IVs but ability patch for the HA is even harder to get than shards. fug

it's even worse, imagine having two good tera types + good defensive types

skeledirge for example has two good defensive tera types but might wanna switch depending on what else is on your team.

not an issue on showdown but IRL that 50 shards to change to water and then another 50 to change to fairy

at that point it's easier just to build two of them

although now that I think about it Skeledirge will always have fire type tera because it evolves to dual typing so you still need 50 ghost shards anyway but I guess that's still lower investment than swapping

Exactly correct for a couple reasons

leveling is much easier
>exp sharing and autobattles
>exp candies from raids (even the small candies add up)
Ev training is simple
>can autobattle away mons that aren't the right EV giver
>low level areas spawn fuck tones of mons that give evs you need
>money is easy enough to get if you want vitamins
Moves
>they remember everything except for egg moves indefinately so you don't have to stress over it and can click "remember move" most of the time
>if you are missing an egg move, mirror herb exists
>TMs are easy to farm for

I have: 1 freshly caught shiny Roaring Moon. Comes in nest ball, willing to nickname it whatever you want. (I would have caught it in a friend ball for premium matching, but I only had one and it failed.
I want: 1 shiny Iron Valiant. In a premier ball. (If I had caught the Roaring Moon in a friend ball, I would be asking for a Iron Valiant in a dream or love ball, but that doesn't seem like a fair trade.)

The deal is that the cave iron valiant is in doesn't have any fighting types except iron valiant so sandwiches make it a sinch

whereas roaring moon shares it's dragon type with zweilous and gabite+gible group spawns, and dark is even worse with adding sneasel groups and sableye

but I'm not anons dad, he can do what he likes.

All the violet paradox mons can be forced to spawn alone
Hands, Bundle, jugulis, treads, and Valiant all can spawn as just them outside station 4
Moth outside station 1 with fire sandwich

No pawmi in the cave at station 4 so it's the best for everything except moth and thorns

Steel sandwich for Treads
Fairy sandwich for Valiant

And to answer your question, it's only in that area (the sweet spot I mentioned is that lol), and even then you get swarmed by rock dogs and salt cubes. Everywhere else is also just salt cubes. Spare yourself from the nightmare I went through and go electric, the amount of iron thorns you get with it is very noticeable compared to rock

It's the upper part of the rock slide thing, on the bottom you get iron hands/pawmo but on the border/rocky ground part of the upper part only iron thorns spawn
Unfortunately this is the best I've found and what worked for me, rock was horribly cluttered by other mons
