This game is not fun at all. I don't get why they lock all Exp Candies to raids.

I've studied these things for a bit. Only online raids seem to have the restoring-hp bug (as I recall, it mostly just happens with Azumaril running Huge Power), and most of the special boss mechanics seem to trigger based on a HP threshholds. The key to soloing raids is either:
>100-0ing them (or, in solo raids, at least 80-0ing them), usually with Iron Hands, Azumaril, or Gholdengo (in the event you need to be immune to status moves)
>Shell Bell + Pokémon that repeatedly spams one move like Skeledirge

If it helps, the boost/ability-wiping move usually only happens once per raid.

It's not even huge power, it's just play rough. You can use any other move like liquidation and aqua tail and the bug does not happen.
