In the pokedex, it clearly states that all pokemon are derived from Mew's DNA. Ignoring the question of Arceus, Dialga, and Palkia, and focusing just on RBY itself, isn't that still untrue thanks to Porygon? As a digital creation, it shouldn't even have DNA, right?

The dev literally put mew in because there were a few hundred free bytes in the cartridge before being shipped and he felt like dicking around at the last minute. Some spontaneous bullshit that wasnt supposed to happen is the basis of all the canonical lore lmao

Porygon is classified as a Pokemon only because someone vaguely says it is. It was artificially created by mankind. (Although to be fair a lot of Pokemon appear to have been accidently created by mankind)

I mean, technically the Pokémon we know as 'Arceus' seems to be a piece of the deity that created Sinnoh (and potentially the rest of the world), and you can fight a 'second' Arceus in the rematches.
