You have the new mons with cries on par with the N64's, then you have the likes of Cursola and Dudunsparce using alterations of their pre-evo cries. The Paradox Pokémon, fitting as the name is, have it the worst with the new Paradox cry effect combined with the Gen 6 "updated" cries. You'd think the Game Boy beeps would fit with the Future Paradoxes, but it just makes the difference in sound quality more jarring.
