Uhhh cynthia fan here i actually sympathise with iris she got the short end of the stick due to bdsp shilling so she got put against cynthia an opponent she wasnt going to win and had to lose to. She should have fought lance someone she had a connection to since both are dragon trainers and at least win and fought against leon in a more of baton pass story where the young surpass the old. But we got what we got and both iris and cynthia unironically got sacrificed for ash vs leon. Im just sad due yo the shit flinging caused by the battle when i actually like iris from the games

Yeah, it sucks that she got treated like shit and then they made her cry at the end. Ultimately this is Sinnoh's era and not Unova's so there was no fucking way she was winning that. Although I think pulling out a Keystone was overkill.

She did a good job though.

As a cynthia fan i agree she did well especially when they said it was a close match. It was a bitch move by the writers to make her cry... iris should be proud of herself for making it to the top 1% of trainers and with bw remakes coming up she will only get stronger. Trust me i was annoyed they mad garchomp kneel at the end when he was winning that stupid boxing match against lucario. No reason to be upset garchomp you nearly won. Same to you haxorus you did well

When Cynthia pulled out her secret weapon you could literally see the fear in her eyes. She should feel proud of herself for how far she came and I hate how it felt like the whole time her and Haxorus were playing catch up instead of a fair fight. As a Cynthiafag I agree, they should’ve at least let her pat herself on the back. She’ll be much stronger when remakes come out.
