I love making the favourite pokemon threads, so I tend to remember people's favourites after a while. I think for every final evolution of a pokemon there's someone who has it as there fave. And if you like the final evolution you probably have some sort of fondness for it's prevos.
It's a bit off-topic but I loved that in PLA there were side quests for nearly every townsperson to find them a partner pokemon. I fondly remember Beauregard's Wurmple quest where he believes his Cascoon will evolve in to Beautifly. I can only dream of them doing these sort of quests in the next game.. they make unlovable pokemon memorable.
