Was pic-related the reason why Game Freak gave H. Typhlosion Frisk when you're forced to show items anyway. Are they really so spiteful Does the idea of Typhlosion being anything other than a fucking joke make them so angry that they would willingly sabotage its Hisuan form with a literal blank-space for an ability while the other Hisuain starters got broken abilities?

Maybe.
On one hand, Gamefreak doesn't care about Smogon.
But on the other hand, I can totally see Masuda fuming at the idea of Typhlosion being better than Charizard without understanding the context.

They literally targeted the main issue with Typlosion(It had no SpA so it needed to run Specs; but it wasn't actually fast enough to pull that) so its lack of ability is really random.(and some of the changes from the initial datamine are just random in general)
Realistically H-Typlosion really is just better than Charizard again; what made charizard decent last gen is all gone basically. And fast eruption off of an okay SpA is worlds better than solar power memes.

This is a tournament specific rule that doesn't affect 99% of players, they balance for ranked battles in general where Frisk is still a great ability.

Also power creep doesn't really affect utility abilities like Frisk

Not really.
Charizard hits like a nuke in the sun still. And with Koraidon and the past paradoxes making sun more viable than ever, there's more reasons to use Charizard.
Even if Zard is weaker than before on account of losing GMax, I think the meta will at least support using it.

Zard was entirely held up by the mechanics of Dyna and the fact that he had a impressive new "sig move". Sun being relevant isn't enough; Charizard is inherently a low power mon.
Solar power wasn't new for him and he wasn't used for a fucking reason before gen 8. He doesn't hit hard enough with the "low power" moves and without dyna he loses a lot of reliability on his moves.

Hitting hard in the sun for a fire type using fire moves is beyond non-impressive, but thats literally all base zard does.

Yeah but its not just stronger, it has a lot more going for it

That's the thing, Fire/Ghost STAB is incredible, Focus Blast helps it stand out from Chandlelure, Infernal Parade is solid utliilty,119 SpA is insanely good for a starter Pokemon so losing 5 speed and a 5 HP is a fair compromise, And even Frisk would have been a decent ability for scouting scarfs. They even gave the original Typhlosion Shadow Ball too so even if the H. Form is mostly better, the original will have a better time in the lower tiers.
This makes me think its not the entire team that hates Typhlosion just one random programmer.

having to show items is a disposition for VGC, not smogon. But your point stands, GameFreak didn't count on some VGC players getting bitchy about having to guess tera and pushing for open teamsheets

Infernal Parade feels like a gimmick.
If it had a 100% chance to burn it would be better than WispHex but it doesn't.
Out of the Hisuian trio it got the least consistent signature move
