These remakes are going to suck. They'll just be 3D reskins again, and will only be meant for all the kids who weren't born in time to collect Dream World rewards or add crowds for their Join Avenue.

I loved BDSP and you can't do anything about it. In fact, I loved them so much, I bought a copy of each. I wish every pokemon game couod be just like them. These aren't my opinions; they're facts.

I hope they just rush their way to the Unova remakes so they can fuck them up again like they did Diamond and Pearl. Hopefully it’ll just be Black & White, and don’t bother to do anything about the sequels. I don’t expect this shitty company to put any care or quality into what they make anymore.

They probably will suck but there’s no point in doomposting for something without info. It’s bad for your mental health. Also in the worst case you can just ignore them. You own the physical copy of the originals that requires no online connection. They can’t take that away from you like blizzard did to warcraft 3.

My two biggest hopes are that there are at least a few outfits to choose from like BDSP and that the sequels are included even if that means a sequel DLC for about £30

I'm worried about two things really, first one being that it's just BW1 without anything that 2 added. But if they do add the stuff from 2, it'll skirt out of things that Pokemon has been dropping lately like the PWT facility, or random side content like Yancy/Curtis, or foregoing all of the post-game content that involved way more mons appearing and almost every legendary having little side quests to find them.
One thing I'm fine with them dropping is things related to that one Radar app, just have things in the base game.

Tbh I don't know what was wrong with BDSP it seemed like just the base game with positive changes like the underground. They even made the elite 4 harder.

The problem most people have is it's based on Diamond and Pearl, and not Platinum, which is the one everyone likes. At least with BW remakes, BW1 are pretty solid, so even if they make remakes like BDSP, it won't be as bad.

FRLG added gen 3 features and eventually their monsters
HGSS added gen 4 features and even gave you access to the evos before post-game, unlike FRLG
ORAS added gen 6 features, new megas, a new short post-game story

BDSP was just a QoL upgrade with Platinum events but not the Frontier.No new G-max forms or access up to any mons past gen 4. Underground upgrade was clearly a "hand hold" place because of early access to some mons

it feels cheap and shitty to play,
the wall collisions that stop you in your tracks,
the overly simple rounded graphics (could have been polished like link's awakening but just wasnt)
the softness of the graphics because of the really bad lighting
the UI looks like baby's first go at photoshop
based on DP not PT

honestly if they had put the original DS games on the switch it would have been alot cheaper for them, would have avoided alot of backlash, been far more fun to play and they wouldnt look cheap they would look 'nostalgic'

BW remakes will be spared from massive disappointment because it was the lowest point in the franchise in terms of graphical quality, and the fact that it no longer has Battle Frontier-tier facility. But I bet some people will be pissed off when GF decided to remove PokeWood and PWT.
