You have to live your life as a Pokemon. Mainline game style and not mystery dungeon, meaning you could theoretically get caught.

Horn slug looks like a tsuchinoko, so Dunsparce.
Kirby without feet could make for a decent Tympole.
Flower with eyes is actually the hardest one to justify. Sunflora, maybe?

As long as I'm not a caterpie or weedle I'll prolly be fine. More so if it's something not likely to get merced easily.

Would prefer something either like Meowth and find all the shinies to throw at a trainer if I DID get caught.

Alternatively, something like Lapras so I can around on a lake and prolly be pet by any nice human going by. Hop aboard we going across the water.

A pokemon that would allow me to live closely like a human and have some form of communication available, but if most options are screwed I'll go for cofagrigus (not yamask, too risky due to the galarian variant meaning I can get snuffed out, directly cofagrigus) or rotom (screw having a trainer, I'll be my own master)
If legends/mythicals are allowed, I go for Deoxys, regen is a great power, I get my own pocket dimension, I can hack a pokedex to talk or use psychic powers, I can disable non-sealed equipements, the only issue is I'll be blind af

I have a legitimate argument as to why, hear me out
>one very few pokemon out there that retains arms while also having wings and an upright posture (without being legendary)
>literal fire-breathing dragon, so any attempts at being caught won't be easy
>ability to fly grants a shit ton of freedom, easy escapes if needed
>exclusive access to every single gimmick imaginable- if wanted, can either mega evolve into one of two different variants or gigantamax into a unique terrestrial form (alongside the general-use gimmicks like Tera and Z-moves)
>kick-ass shiny just in case you roll the 1/4096 chance on isekai, so you don't have to look like shit in case you get lucky
>slim chance that if you isekai as a charmander you can be someone's first bro for life and develop a long and lasting bond with someone
>tail adds extra maneuverability, helps be creative with attacks if needed
>can visit every region without being shot in the head for being dexcut
>cold-blooded lizard that constantly provides its own heat, meaning it can traverse basically any environment and be totally fine
charmander would also be acceptable for obvious reasons
