Just because pokeon can have multiple sources of inspiration doesn't mean it has to be a weasel. It's clearly not. Like, just because Arcanine is clearly both a tiger and a dog, that doesn't make it a kangaroo.

I love these designs, but I disagree. Not every Pokemon should look like them.
Part of what makes the ruination quartet so cool is how unlike every other Pokemon they look. It's the same deal with the Ultra Beasts.
