Wait until you have 6 Pokemon that require the same stat, give them all the power item, level up one of them with candies so it can OHKO the Pokemon easily, and then KO a bunch.
You can do mixed batches by giving them the other power item and then switching to the power item of whatever you're KOing when that maxes out.
e.g. training 3 physical attackers and 3 special attackers, all with 252/252 speed spreads
Give 3 phys attackers power bracer and 3 special attackers power lens, go to town on a wingull swam. Once their attacking stat is maxed out (32 battles), switch all their items to power anklet and do another 25.
